The trial he has chosen to talk about is Don King Productions v. He has tried well over 50 cases in California and across the country during that time, mostly in lawsuits of considerable complexity, including one which lasted 10 months.

Sharer joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in 1961 and worked at the firm for his entire career. Our January 12th program features a true master of the courtroom.

Sharer and his wife Brenda of Glenville NY step sisters Kathleen (William) Mussig of Seekonk, MA, Theresa McGuire of Scotia, NY, Patricia (Robert) Martin of Coventry RI. Survivors include her son Luke DiFucci of Cold Spring NY, her husband Paul Osterling of Jersey City NJ, her brother Michael J. Patty was predeceased also by her grandparents Patrick and Kathleen O'Rourke and Betty and William Sharer. Her hobbies included gardening and painting. She enjoyed spending time with her Family and friends. Their favorite past time was collecting sea shells, and watching the sun rise and set. Patty enjoyed spending time at the ocean with Luke. She moved to Cold Spring in June of 2012. Most importantly raising her son Luke and being a mother was her greatest passion. For a number of years she resided in Jersey City working as an interior designer. In 1999 she gave birth to her pride and joy Luke.

Following college she married John DiFucci. She graduated from Junior College of Albany with a degree in fine arts then continued her education at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn where she received a bachelor's degree. She was an 1982 graduate of Linton High School. Patty grew up in Delmar and moved to Schenectady in 1978. Patty was predeceased by her father Frederick Sharer of Colonie NY in March of this year. For five years she fought a courageous battle against breast cancer.īorn in Albany, NY on Mashe is the daughter of Elizabeth (O'Rourke) Sharer McGuire(late Mickey) of Glenville NY. Patricia Anne Sharer, 49 of Cold Spring NY passed away peacefully on Jat New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Hospital Surrounded by her loving family and lifelong friend Annie DeNero.
